last move from chino

The last drive from Chino included shenanigans as would be expected if you were trying for things to go smoothly. Firstly a 10% chance of rain turned into a epic downpour. This was as the sunset. We had planned to leave earlier but you know... We noticed the tires on the trailer were low, so we went to a gas station to pump them up. With a heavy load the trailer tires would not pump up because the compressor was too puny. This was soon so by going to a new gas station only to find that the automatic air pump had some holes in it. By pressing hard I managed 10 extra pounds of air pressure to get back on the road. Baby screaming and sued and we were still an hour from getting her her favorite bottle at Target in the valley. Baby had gone without her favorite nipple for 3 days and was finally done. We did manage to get out of the pretty quickly and didn't think we would get home too late. We had predicted midnight and now we predicted 10:00 p.m. The gods did not smile favorably on us. We ran out of gas 10 miles from home and roadside assistance because of labor shortages would not get to us for 2 hours well past midnight. Luckily State patrol carries a a 1 gallon gas can and saved the day. Rolled in at Sunday morning 1:00 a.m. through the kids in bed and passed out.

Dinner and Target parking lot.
